Uzbekistan athletes won 2 bronze medals on the first day of the Asian Sambo Championships. Championships are held in Kazakhstan’s Aktau.

Almost 200 sambists from 14 countries of the continent are taking part in this tournament. 12 athletes are defending the honor of Uzbekistan.

According to the results of the women’s competitions, Gulsanam Bekdullayeva (50 kg) and Patpa Djoldasbayeva (54 kg) brought two bronze medals to Uzbekistan national team.

The Championships will run until October 10.
