Two essential documents signed between ACWA Power and Apex Life Insurance
23:18 / 2024-04-17

Agreements were signed between ACWA Power and Apex Life Insurance to improve employees’ quality of life.

Domestic and foreign experts and industry representatives attended the event.

The head of the HR Department of ACWA Power, Firuza Mavlanova, spoke about the importance of these agreements signed between the parties.

– The agreements concerned the Well-being corporate program for our employees working at remote sites located in various regions of the country and a unique insurance program for their family members, – she said. – Project implementation will begin on May 1, 2024.

At ACWA Power’s request, a social compensation package was developed, which became innovative for the Uzbekistan insurance market. Now, the company takes on not only the medical insurance of the employee and his family members but also all issues related to the health insurance of his parents, removing all financial costs from the employee. The program applies to both existing and new employees.

ACWA Power is implementing 15 projects in alternative energy in Uzbekistan. The Well-being program is intended for employees working at remote sites in the country. International practice shows that employees working on a rotational basis often experience stress and emotional burnout and usually face psychological challenges associated with complex, unusual conditions, being far from home and family, having a regulated daily routine, lacking personal space, and being in a limited circle of colleagues.

In short, an attentive attitude towards colleagues and care for each employee will increase employees’ internal motivation and prevent their emotional burnout. This will serve as an excellent example for other companies and will also contribute to the development of a competitive environment and improvement of the labor market in Uzbekistan.
