Two chess players from Uzbekistan awarded international titles
From year to year, the ranks of young talented chess players recognized internationally are expanding in Uzbekistan.
Recently, the International Chess Federation awarded Abdumalik Abdusalimov the title of international grandmaster, and Umida Omonova received the title of International Master, Uzbekistan Chess Federation reports.

It should be noted that Umida Omonova has been achieving good results at international competitions for several years and is considered one of the most talented chess players. Abdumalik Abdusalimov’s results were worthily noted. In particular, in 2015, he was awarded the title of FIDE Master, Master of Sports of international class. And in 2018, he was awarded the state award “Mard O’g’lon”.
