IWF Junior World Championships continue in Tashkent.

Women’s championships in the 87-kilogram weight category have ended. Uzbekistan’s Tursunoy Jabborova became the best in weightlifting biathlon. In the snatch, she defeated her main opponent, and in the clean and jerk – another rival from the US and took first place. 

Tursunoy received three gold medals at the championships.

The championships results:

1. Tursunoy Jabborova (Uzbekistan) – 244 (111 + 133) kg;

2. Elizabeth Owens (the United States) – 211 (93 + 118) kg;

3. Ekta Jamali (Iran) – 208 (92 + 116) kg.
