Hokim of Samarkand region E. Turdimov has met with teachers and students of Samarkand State Architectural and Civil Engineering Institute.

“The scale of construction work in our country is increasing”, E. Turdimov said. – Therefore, the demand for the best, most modern projects, construction companies and specialists is growing. Until recently, we met this demand at the expense of foreigners, that is, we turned to foreign design institutes, foreign architects and even builders.

At the meeting, the Hokim of the region emphasized the need for organizing a discussion club for gifted students of the institute, studying their best ideas and initiatives and discussing them together.

From now on, capable students will be invited to meetings of the regional urban planning council, where their opinions will be taken into account. An artistic and technical council will also be created at the institute.

Rector of the institute, Çiğdem Türkyılmaz, supported this initiative and said that professors and specialists from leading universities of Turkey would be invited to the club.
