Turkish filmmakers are filming the series “I can’t fit into this world” (“Ben Bu Cihana Sığmazam”). According to the plot of the series, important events in the life of the main characters take place in Uzbekistan.

The TV series is Directed by Onur Tan. The leading roles are played by well-known Turkish actors Oktay Kaynarca and Pelin Akil. The series tells about the plight of a special agent who dedicated his life to fighting international crime. The protagonist, having fallen into despair, imitates his death and leaves for Uzbekistan, where he makes many new friends.

The creators of the series planned to acquaint the multi-million audience with the most beautiful historical sights of Samarkand.

“There are many architectural monuments and picturesque places in Samarkand”, says Firdavs Abdukhalikov, Director General of Uzbekistan Cinematography Agency. – The first days of filming will take place on Registan Square and in the Ulugbek Madrasah. If the series is broadcast in more than a hundred countries around the world, then this can positively affect the tourism potential of Uzbekistan and arouse great interest among filmmakers in creating new films in our country.
