Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Uzbekistan – Minister of Investments and Foreign Trade Jamshid Khodjayev met with the head of the Housing Development Administration of the Republic of Türkiye (TOKİ) Ömer Bulut.

The Uzbek side highly appreciated the activities of TOKİ in the construction of affordable social housing for the Turkish population and expressed interest in establishing cooperation in housing construction using advanced Turkish technologies and experience.

Ömer Bulut emphasized the large-scale reforms being carried out in Uzbekistan, the favorable conditions created for investors and expressed his readiness to continue cooperation within the framework of the implementation of joint promising projects and the provision of technical and advisory assistance, including the development of a strategy for the creation of social houses for the next five years.

Following the meeting, the parties reached specific agreements regarding the creation of a joint working group for a detailed study of the organizational aspects of further cooperation using Turkish experience in the construction of affordable social housing.
