As previously reported, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Turkey Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu, who will attend the International Conference “Central and South Asia: Regional Connectivity. Challenges and Opportunities” to be held in Tashkent on July 15-16, has arrived in Fergana.
The high-ranking guest was solemnly met by the Minister of Culture of Uzbekistan Ozodbek Nazarbekov, First Deputy Minister of Tourism and Sports Ulugbek Azamov, Deputy Hokim of Fergana region Ikboljon Ergashev, Fergana City Hokim Mirzokhid Ubaydullayev, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Uzbekistan to Turkey Alisher Azamkhujayev and Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Turkey to Uzbekistan Olgan Bekar and other officials.
During the visit, Turkey’s FM will visit Margilan Crafts Development Center and Oltiariq vineyards, as well as Khudayarkhan Palace and Jome Mosque in Kokand.
Today, Mr. Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu will complete his visit to Fergana and depart for Tashkent to attend the international conference that will kick off tomorrow.
