The conference is organized by the National University of Uzbekistan together with Istanbul Sabahattin Zaim University, Ankara Studies Research Center and the Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TIKA) to further increase the flow of direct investment attracted to the national economy, developing scientific proposals and practical recommendations for improving the tourism potential of Uzbekistan.

According to the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Turkey to Uzbekistan Mehmet Süreyya Er, every Turk who works in diplomacy is tempted to work in Uzbekistan. The Ambassador assured that he will make every effort to further strengthen cooperation in all areas between the two countries.

Issues of cooperation in education, economics, finance, in the areas of historical ties and religious relations were discussed at the conference.
