The Embassy of Uzbekistan in Turkey organized bilateral virtual talks between the Turkey Tradesmen and Artisans Confederation (TESK) Chairman Bendevi Palandöken and the Chairman of Hunarmand Association Ulugbek Abdullayev.
The parties got acquainted in detail with presentation materials on the activities of the handicraft and pottery direction of the two countries.
Hunarmand Association proposed to hold Uzbek Handicrafts Week in Turkey this year, as well as to open a showroom of national applied arts in Turkey’s capital.
The TESK head noted that handicraft has become a huge part of the cultural life in Uzbekistan, and assured that he is ready to render every assistance to the development of bilateral cultural ties and the organization of necessary events for this.
An agreement was reached on Mr. Bendevi Palandöken’s visit to Uzbekistan in the second half of this year to discuss with the leadership of Hunarmand Association issues of enhancing collaboration, as well as familiarization with the development of the handicrafts.
