Ankara hosted talks between representatives of Uzbekistan and the Ministry of Treasury and Finance of Turkey.

Within the framework of implementation of the agreements reached during the visit of President Shavkat Miziyoyev to Turkey in February 2020, permission was obtained to open a credit line by Türk Eximbank to support projects in Uzbekistan worth over $30 million. Including JSCB Agrobank ($25 million) JSCB Turonbank ($6 million).

The projects will serve to further attract modern technologies and innovative solutions from Turkey.

During the talks, the prospects for deepening cooperation and allocation of additional credit lines were also considered to increase the volume of financing for projects with participation of entrepreneurs of the two countries.

Following the talks, priority tasks were identified within the framework of the discussed areas of cooperation development.
