Urumqi, Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region of China, hosts the 6th China Xinjiang International Dance Festival.

27 dance ensembles from different countries are presenting 28 masterpieces of choreographic art. The best dance groups from Uzbekistan, Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan, Turkmenistan, Georgia, Thailand, South Africa, and South Korea are invited to the festival.

Uzbekistan is represented by the “Tumor” ensemble of Alisher Navoi State Academic Grand Theater of Uzbekistan.

The 6th China Xinjiang International Dance Festival on “The Dream of Dancing, Harmony of the Silk Road” gathered over a thousand dancers. The event will last 17 days. It will feature 60 programs in ballet, folk dance drama, and musicals.

The “Tumor” ensemble performed in two cities of China – Urumqi and Changji with the program “Uzbekistan is our common home”, which was very warmly received by the audience.
