The final week of the World Summit on the Information Society Forum 2022 is taking place in Geneva, Switzerland.

The project Tumaris.Tech of the Ministry for the Development of Information Technologies and Communications of Uzbekistan won the nomination “Capacity Building” and was awarded the main prize.

The award was presented by ITU Secretary-General Houlin Zhao.

The program aims to increase women's participation in the ICT ecosystem. It includes training for women who want to work as freelancers, as well as several other areas.

More than 70 countries are taking part in the summit.
