TUIT and BSUIR agreed to establish a joint faculty

Tashkent University of Information Technologies named after Muhammad al-Khwarizmi (TUIT) and the Belarusian State University of Informatics and Radioelectronics (BSUIR) signed an agreement on establishment of a joint faculty of information technologies.

Tashkent University of Information Technologies named after Muhammad al-Khwarizmi (TUIT) and the Belarusian State University of Informatics and Radioelectronics (BSUIR) signed an agreement on establishment of a joint faculty of information technologies.

The document was signed by the TUIT Rector T.Teshabayev and Rector of BSUIR V.Bogush within the framework of the visit of the Belarusian delegation to Tashkent.

According to the Ministry for Development of Information Technologies and Communications of the Republic of Uzbekistan, graduates of the joint faculty will receive a double diploma (from TUIT and from BSUIR). Three new directions of training have been created in TUIT: software for information technologies, programmable mobile systems and artificial intelligence. The first two years of study will be held in TUIT, and the next two years in BSUIR.
