On April 28, the Presidency for Turks Abroad and Related Communities of the Republic of Turkey held an online opening ceremony of the Eurasian Youth School.

The leadership and students of Tashkent State University of Oriental Studies attended the event.

It was noted that 100 students of the university submitted documents for participation in the Eurasian Youth School, 24 of them were selected by the partner organization. It was emphasized that this event will contribute to the personal, cultural, professional and intellectual development of students-Turkologists, expand their knowledge about Turkey and create an atmosphere of friendship between young people participating in the program.

More than 600 applications were received from students of Tashkent State University of Oriental Studies, Tashkent State University of Uzbek Language and Literature named after Alisher Navoi, International Kazakh-Turkish University named after Khoja Akhmet Yassawi, Kyrgyz-Turkish University named after Manas, and International Kazakh-Turkish Lyceum.

10 TSUOS students were selected following the event. During the summer holidays, they will carry out a week-long cultural trip to Turkey.
