According to Dunyo News Agency, TRT-Avaz has published an article devoted to the 34th anniversary of the formation of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

The article notes that January 14 – Defenders of the Motherland Day, is celebrated in Uzbekistan since 1993. This date is of great importance not only to military personnel, but also to all structures that ensure peace and security in the country.

“Majestic footsteps of soldiers and the sounds of marching music echoed through the city’s main streets”, the fraternal country newspaper writes. “Officers, students of specialized educational institutions, and cavalrymen took part in the parade, which began on the territory of the University of Military Security and Defense”.

The article also notes that, in 1992, by a parliamentary resolution, all military units and formations located in Uzbekistan were transferred under the country’s control, and that day went down in history as the date of the formation of one of the strongest armies in Central Asia.
