TASS Russian News Agency held a week-long training and practical workshop for photojournalists and videographers from news agencies and print media across the CIS.

The specifics of modern photojournalism and its development trends were discussed.

The workshop program began with an introduction to TASS photo editing and continued with practical training. Theoretical and practical exercises, featuring the Director of the TASS newsreel, famous photojournalist Sergei Shakhidzhanyan, the winner of the World Press Photo – 2025, Mikhail Tereshchenko, and a specialist in creating video content, Maxim Churusov, attracted the participants’ attention. Their workshops allowed the participants to immerse themselves in the unique world of photojournalism.

Special attention was paid to the use of artificial intelligence in preparing and transmitting information.
