To further develop domestic tourism in the city of Navoi, a tourism fair with the participation of entrepreneurs was organized within the framework of the “Travel Uzbekistan” project.

Thanks to the systematic work carried out by the Head of state and the created opportunities and conditions, tourism is also becoming one of the fastest-growing industries in Navoi region.

Currently, 60 travel companies operate in the region, 219 accommodation facilities exist, and 6569 rooms are available.

“Over the past period of this year, the region was visited by 37.5 thousand foreign and more than 235.7 thousand local tourists”, said Deputy Hokim of the region Sadulla Mirzayev. “In 2023, exports of tourism services amounted to $39.5 million and increased 24 times compared to 2017. Over the three months of this year, 15 accommodation facilities have been created, including 8 hotels, 3 family guest houses, 2 hostels, and 2 campsites. 8 travel agencies were launched, and 10 new tourist routes were developed”.

Last year, 44 projects were launched with a total value of 138 billion UZS, through which 431 new jobs were created.

Within the framework of the fair, issues of establishing cooperation between employees of enterprises and organizations and tour operator companies were also agreed upon.
