President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon presented the State Prize of the Republic of Tajikistan named after Rudaki to a member of the Uzbekistan Writers Union, poet and translator Odil Ikrom.

The prize was awarded for the translation of more than 60 poems from the six-book work “Ma’naviy Masnaviy” by Jaloliddin Rumiy, the anthology “Modern Tajik Poetry” and several works by representatives of Persian-Tajik literature Muhammad Iqbal, Furug Farrukhzoda, Zakhiri Samarqandi.
