The Agency of Information and Mass Communications held a training on increasing the volume and quality of information about Uzbekistan in Wikipedia.

It was attended by responsible persons of the Information and Mass Communications Agency, more than 70 heads of information services of state and economic management bodies, agencies and institutions, as well as other state organizations.

At the beginning of the event, held in the spirit of open dialogue, extensive information was given about the Creative Commons license, which allows the free posting of information on the Wikipedia platform.

It was noted that it is important to increase the number of articles about Uzbekistan on Wikipedia, enrich information about the Uzbek model of development of the state and society, since the activation of the participation of information services in the virtual space will bring good results.

At the event, the participants were informed in detail about the placement of information in the Internet encyclopedia.

The participants made suggestions and expressed their opinions, received answers to their questions.
