The Sports Complex of the University of Journalism and Mass Communications of Uzbekistan hosted an international online workshop for trainers of kurash federations of Asian countries.

About 200 specialists from Iran, Afghanistan, Kuwait, Iraq, Lebanon, Jordan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan took part in the event.

Experts from the International Kurash Institute and the International Kurash Association held master classes.

Honorary Rector of the International Kurash Institute B. Valiyev, specialists of the Institute B. Abduvaliyev and B. Abdullayev were awarded the badge “Excellence in Physical Culture and Sports” of the Ministry of Tourism and Sports for their contribution to the development of kurash.

According to the Ministry of Tourism and Sports, the International Kurash Institute organized more than 80 training courses, arbitration seminars and exhibitions to popularize Uzbekistan’s national sport. This year, it is planned to organize six online and four offline workshops.
