International Caravanserai of Culture of Ikuo Hirayama hosted the opening of a photo exhibition entitled “Architecture of Uzbekistan and Japan: Traditions and Modernity”.

This exhibition project is aimed at cultural exchange between Japan and Uzbekistan.

Local architects, designers, and artists can get acquainted with the Japanese experience of rethinking traditions and their synthesis with modern architecture, as well as the rich architectural heritage of Uzbekistan and Japan.

A series of works by young photographers Bobur Alimkhujayev and Oyjon Khayrullayeva and the curator of the photo exhibition – Munis Nur, was presented at the exhibition.

The exhibition will run until June 18, 2023.
