At Samarqand’s state institute of architecture and construction, a traditional republican scientific practical conference of young scientists and talented students has taken place on the subject of “Young people with intellectual potential in the integration of education, science and production – an important factor for the country’s development”.

In the event, young scientists doing scientific research at higher educational institutions, students and master’s degree students participated with their speeches about topical issues in such spheres as architecture, geodesy, economics and services, ecology, technologies, teaching and psychology.

“Today, special attention is being paid on a world scale to reducing exhaust fume emissions and using modern and environmentally friendly technologies. At our educational institution, too, scientific research is being conducted in this area,” says A.Abdullayev, a cadet of the Samarqand higher military automobile command engineering school.

At the conference, practical proposals and recommendations were put together on science and technological modernization, encouragement and support for young scientists and on putting into practice innovative ideas and developments. The authors of the best speeches and scientific articles were identified.

Within the framework of the event, the republican phase of the “Talents of the new century - 2017” contest took place. This contest had been announced by the Higher and Secondary Special Education Ministry of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Art Academy of Uzbekistan and the “Hunarmand (craftsman)” association.

During the contest, works of art by students of higher education institutions specializing in training personnel for the sphere of architecture and construction were displayed.

The winners of more than 10 nominations such as “The best colourful work of art”, “the best work of applied arts”, “the best architectural model”, “the best engineering project and development” and “the best construction materials and technologies” were determined.
