Trade House “Uzbekistan” in Latvia to promote Fergana’s export potential

The signing ceremony of the Memorandum of Cooperation to promote the export potential of Uzbekistan’s Fergana region in Latvia took place via videoconference.

The document was signed from the Uzbek side by the Deputy Hokim of the region for investment Iqboljon Ergashev, from the Latvian side – the head of the Trade House “Uzbekistan” in Riga Vladimir Galperin.

The Ambassador of Uzbekistan to Latvia Kadambay Sultanov expressed hope that the signed memorandum will significantly contribute to the achievement of practical results in the form of signed export contracts and will serve to establish an effective platform for direct contacts between the businesspeople of Uzbekistan and Latvia.

Mr. Vladimir Galperin, in turn, called on the entrepreneurs of the region to actively use the opportunities of the Trade House “Uzbekistan” and confirmed readiness for active joint work aimed at deepening trade and economic cooperation between Uzbekistan and Latvia.
