Members of the Tourism Committee delegation, staying in Indonesia to widely promote Uzbekistan’s tourism potential in Southeast Asia, have met with the leadership of the Indonesian Muslim Council.

According to the Tourism Committee, the parties discussed promoting halal tourism in both countries, creating conditions for Muslim tourists. In particular, there is an increase in the flow of tourists from Indonesia to Uzbekistan, the development of affordable tour packages for them, and the provision of quality services.

Indonesian officials were informed about the ongoing reforms to develop tourism in Bukhara.

An agreement was reached to show videos about Bukhara on screens installed in mosques and the busy areas adjacent to them.
