Global Entrepreneurship Week GEW – 2022 on “Entrepreneurship in tourism and hospitality” has kicked off in Tashkent.

At the opening ceremony, the participants noted that the definition of tourism as one of the strategic sectors of the national economy of Uzbekistan by the Head of the state yields positive results. The introduction of cashback and tax-free systems aimed at stimulating tourism, as well as simplified business mechanisms, is also important.

It should be noted that Entrepreneurship Week is an important platform for exchanging information, discussing current issues, making proposals to improve the business environment, identifying new growth points and areas in tourism and hospitality.

At the event, reports on the topic were read out, experience and opinions were exchanged.

A plenary session was held on the current trends and prospects in tourism and hospitality management in Uzbekistan. The event also included a presentation on “Samarkand Tourism Forum as a developing platform for the exchange of views in tourism”.

This initiative is being implemented in Uzbekistan for the sixth time.

During the week, which will run until December 16, it is planned to hold more than 10 events – discussions, trainings, masterclasses.
