Tour to Zafarshan National Natural Park
Zarafshan National Natural Park is located in the southeastern part of Samarkand region in the territory of Jambay and Bulungur districts.
Zarafshan National Natural Park is located in the southeastern part of Samarkand region in the territory of Jambay and Bulungur districts and consists of two separate sections (upper and lower) located along Zarafshan River.
The total area of the park is 2426,85 hectares, of which 1772 hectares is the reserve zone.
The total length of the territory is 35 kilometers. And the width reaches up to 100-1400 meters.
There are 24 species of mammals, 207 species of birds, 18 species of fish, 10 species of reptiles, 88 species of insects and 300 species of plants. They are used in pharmaceutical and industrial sectors.
