Tashkent Hokimiyat hosted a meeting with the Director for International Strategy of the International Affairs Division of the Office of the Governor for Policy Planning of the Tokyo Metropolitan Government, Fujita Megumi.

It was noted that Tokyo’s practice of city management is an example not only for Asian countries, but also for the whole world and that the tandem of modernity and tradition in urban planning also reflects the approach of Tashkent.

Fujita Megumi thanked for the warm welcome and said that the Tokyo Metropolitan Government is interested in cooperation and exchange of experience. The guest invited representatives of the Tashkent Hokimiyat to participate in the International Conference on Sustainable High-Tech Urban Development “SusHI Tech Tokyo 2024”, to be held in May 2024 in Tokyo.
