The Chairperson of the Art and Culture Development Foundation of Uzbekistan Gayane Umerova met with ALIPH Executive Director Valéry Freland and the ALIPH’s Board Chair Bariza Khiari.

The themes for discussion were the prospects for cooperation in the restoration and conservation of cultural heritage sites and the possibility of developing programs and projects to preserve intangible cultural heritage.

The meeting participants paid special attention to joint work within the framework of the Aral Culture Summit, which aims to protect cultural heritage and the ecosystem.
