Testing of an automated terminal for selling railway tickets has started at the Tashkent Central Railway Station.

Uztemiryulyulovchi JSC noted that the new terminal allows travelers to choose the right direction, wagon, and place and then enter personal data. The device also allows users to pay for a purchase with a bank card.

It is planned to install similar terminals at all railway stations in the country. In addition to buying tickets, the terminal also provides information about train schedules.

In August 2019, Uzbekistan Railways introduced electronic train registration. Starting in March 2020, it also applies to international routes.
