TIAC, Osaka University strengthen cooperation

A videoconference was held with the leadership of the Ministry of Higher and Secondary Special Education, Tashkent Institute of Architecture and Construction and Osaka University representatives.

With the assistance of the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Japan, a videoconference was held with the leadership of the Ministry of Higher and Secondary Special Education, Tashkent Institute of Architecture and Construction and the Vice President of Osaka University, Genta Kawahara, Director for the International Affairs Kenji Sumiyoshi and Associate Professor of the Center for Global Initiatives Ariunaa Enkhtur.

The participants noted the need for bilateral cooperation in priority areas for the country, in particular, in natural sciences and medicine, as well as exchange within the framework of relevant scientific and educational programs, send Japanese students to higher education institutions of Uzbekistan.

Osaka University expresses interest in establishing cooperation with Tashkent Institute of Architecture and Construction within the framework of the International Program of Maritime and Urban Engineering. Participation in this program will allow to receive a scholarship from the Japanese government, for which it is necessary to successfully pass the entrance exams and conduct research.
