Turkey hosted the Open Taekwondo Tournament. Members of Uzbekistan national team won three medals.

Najmiddin Kosimkhujayev, who defeated five opponents before the final fight, won a silver medal in the weight category up to 68 kg, and Shukhrat Salyaev, who competed in the weight category up to 80 kg, brought the second silver medal to the team’s treasury.

Another talented taekwondo fighter Shokhruh Radjabov won bronze in the +87 kg category.
