Zafarbek Uktamov (50 kg) and Sarvarbek Abdualimov (60 kg) from Uzbekistan won bronze medals on the first day of the World Judo Championships among juniors born in 2005-2007, in Azerbaijan’s Goygol.

Muhammadumar Khaitov (73 kg) won another medal on the last day of the championship. It should be noted that about 500 young judokas from over 40 countries took part in the championships, and about 20 countries took prizes in total. Among them is Uzbekistan national team, which took a worthy part in this prestigious tournament.
