This year, Uzbekistan’s judokas won 99 gold, 72 silver, and 149 bronze medals at international tournaments of different age categories, the National Olympic Committee reports.

During the press conference of the leadership of the Uzbekistan Judo Federation, it was noted that in 2023, at the National Sports Award 2023, the country’s judo team was recognized as the best team of the outgoing year.

This year, for the first time, Uzbekistan’s judokas won 4 medals at the World Championships and 3 gold medals at the Asian Games. In addition, for the first time in 12 years, they won a gold medal at the Masters tournament.
