17:49 / 2025-07-09

ADA University has launched events devoted to the 20th anniversary of the publication “The World of Diplomacy”, published by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan.

A workshop for representatives of leading think tanks, organized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in cooperation with the Center of Analysis of International Relations (AIR Center), became one of the key events.

The Forum brought together experts, diplomats, and analysts from various countries to discuss current challenges in diplomacy, international relations, and global governance within the context of rapidly evolving global politics.

During the meetings, special attention was paid to the future of multilateral cooperation, the role of technology in diplomacy, and the transformation of the international security architecture. The participants discussed how digital tools affect traditional approaches to diplomacy and the development of interstate relations in an era of global transformation.

Director of the Institute for Strategic and Regional Studies under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Sanjar Valiyev, delivered a speech during the panel discussion “Diplomacy in a Multipolar World”. He stressed that in the context of the transition to a multipolar world, accompanied by global challenges, Uzbekistan consistently implements a foreign policy course based on the principles of responsibility, pragmatism, and mutual benefit.

This forum aims to strengthen international dialogue, develop scientific ties, stimulate joint publications, and facilitate expert exchanges between research institutions. It is planned to enhance global scientific relations and create platforms for joint projects, as well as the release of a special issue of the “The World of Diplomacy” journal, featuring articles and materials from participants.
