As of January 1, 2022, 562.7 thousand streetlights light up the streets of the country. Compared to last year, their number increased by 40.6 thousand (7.8%).

According to the States Statistics Committee, about 1/4 of street lighting equipment in the country falls on the city of Tashkent (136.3 thousand pieces or 24.2% of the total). This is followed by Fergana (50.8 thousand pieces or 9.0%), Namangan (46.4 thousand pieces or 8.3%), and Andijan (45.4 thousand pieces or 8.1%) regions.
