An international scientific and practical conference titled “Theoretical and practical approaches to assessing knowledge and qualifications” was held in Tashkent.

The event was organized by the Agency for Knowledge and Qualification Assessment under the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation of the Republic of Uzbekistan, in cooperation with the international scientific journal Science and Innovation.

The conference was opened by Kongratbay Sharipov, Minister of Higher Education, Science and Innovation of the Republic of Uzbekistan, and Majid Karimov, Director of the Agency for Knowledge and Qualification Assessment.

The participants discussed ongoing reforms in the education system, international assessment standards, innovative approaches, and prospects for further cooperation. The need to improve the quality of education, ensure transparency in assessment processes, and integrate international best practices into the national system was also emphasized.

The conference addressed some of the most pressing issues in modern educational reform, with a particular focus on the use of innovative technologies in assessment, test quality enhancement, and the creation of a fair evaluation system through digital solutions.

The event brought together academics and specialists from Uzbekistan, as well as renowned experts from the United Kingdom, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, and other countries.
