The Academy of Arts hosted the awarding ceremony for the participants of the competition “My Army – My Pride!”, organized on the occasion of the 31st anniversary of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Uzbekistan and Defenders of the Motherland Day.

The competition was held among famous artists and creative people, military personnel and their families, students and schoolchildren in such areas as patriotism, loyalty to the Motherland and military oath.

More than 300 creative works in fine arts and graphics of military-patriotic subjects were submitted to the competition by 170 people. The works were evaluated by professional artists and jury members recommended by the Academy of Arts of Uzbekistan.

Representatives of the Ministry of Defense, the Academy of Arts, artists, military personnel and members of their families were invited to the awarding of winners and the exhibition organized as part of the competition. A concert was held with the participation of artists of the Central Song and Dance Ensemble of the Armed Forces and the orchestra of the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
