Holding the International Conference “Technical Day” in Tashkent, organized by Uzbekneftegaz JSC jointly with the Institute of Oil and Gas Technology Initiatives of the Russian Federation, is a logical continuation of this work.
Local and foreign experts, specialists, and representatives of enterprises taking part in the event discuss modern solutions to increase demand for geological exploration and technological equipment in the domestic and foreign markets, as well as the availability of logistics services provided by large foreign companies specializing in oil and gas, energy and automation.

According to the head of the Department of Technical Regulation of Production of Uzbekneftegaz JSC Feruz Madatov, cooperation between the parties began in 2020. During this time, together with Uzbekneftegaz JSC and the Institute of Oil and Gas Technology Initiatives, more than 140 standards were reviewed. Eighty standards were approved by experts of Uzbekneftegaz JSC.
“This conference is an important event”, said F. Madatov. “It will include presentations on more than 170 areas and standards, such as geological exploration, drilling, mining and processing of minerals, pressure equipment, rotary and pumping equipment, energy, automation, and construction standards”.

At the sessions organized for industry specialists and industrial enterprises, issues of introducing international standards at manufacturing enterprises in Uzbekistan and procedures for applying international, interstate, regional, and foreign standards were discussed.
It should be noted that a memorandum on strengthening cooperation between Uzbekneftegaz JSC and the Institute of Oil and Gas Technology Initiatives of the Russian Federation is expected to be signed at the conference.
