The volume of market services rendered in the city of Tashkent in January-February 2022 amounted to 17 trillion 931 billion UZS, an increase of 120.7 percent compared to the same period last year. The nominal volume increased by 3 trillion 889.5 billion UZS.

A significant volume of market services accounts for trade, accommodation and catering. In particular, the share of trade in the total volume of market services rendered in January-February of this year amounted to 23.2 percent or 4 trillion 153.9 billion UZS. It should be noted that in January 2021, this figure was 3 trillion 282.6 billion UZS or 23.4 percent of the total.

In January-February 2022, the share of food and beverage services in the total volume of accommodation and catering services prevailed at the level of 83.7 percent.

It should be noted that the development of the service sector will contribute to the creation of many sales centers and new jobs, increase the income of entrepreneurs and ensure employment of the population.
