In 2019-2020, Tashkent region and Tajikistan trade turnover amounted to $108.5 million, of which $74.5 million – imports, $34.2 million – exports.

This year, these indicators have grown significantly, and the volume of exports amounted to 9 million 500.1 thousand dollars. Among the exported products, there was a high demand for licorice extract, building materials, food products, washing powder, furniture, mineral fertilizers, legumes, melons and fruits. Most of the imported products are sanitary and medical equipment, chemical and confectionery products.

The regional Hokimiyat is carrying out systematic work on developing and creating new enterprises in districts and cities. The goal is to reduce imports and increase exports.
