The resolution of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan “On measures for the high-quality and timely implementation of the “Uzbekistan-2030” Strategy in 2023”, has been adopted.

According to the document, from January 1, 2024, the value-added tax refund system for individuals and legal entities will be expanded.

A full VAT refund will be launched:

foreign tourists – for products purchased on the territory of the Republic of Uzbekistan and issued under the “tax-free” system at international airports of the Republic of Uzbekistan;

tour operators – for export services under contracts with foreign counterparties.
