The Eighth International Exhibition “China – Eurasia” opened in Urumqi under the slogan “New opportunities on the Silk Road. New vitality for Eurasia”.
The prime ministers of Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan, the deputy prime ministers of Tajikistan and Kazakhstan, and representatives of governments of more than 40 foreign countries were guests of honor at the event.
It was noted that the Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region is considered China’s gateway to Central Asia, and this exhibition serves as an essential platform for the consistent and logical continuation of cooperation.
Seventy countries are participating in the event.
“Uzbekistan is participating in this exhibition for the first time with a separate stand. More than 200 entrepreneurs came”, says the Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan Davron Vakhabov. “The pavilion occupies 180 square meters and combines national and modern styles. We introduce visitors to our country’s industry, geology, electrical, chemical, and pharmaceutical industries, tourism, information technology, and agricultural products”.
The China – Eurasia International Exhibition is an opportunity to demonstrate potential, attract investors, find new partners, and reach promising agreements.
The international exhibition, held every two years, will last until June 30.
