The Embassy of Uzbekistan in Sweden hosted a roundtable discussion on the essence and goals of the Uzbekistan-2030 Strategy adopted in September 2023, emphasizing foreign policy priorities and plans for developing the attractiveness of Uzbekistan’s investment.

The event was attended by members of the Swedish Parliament, representatives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Association of Diplomats Stockholm, and analysts from the Swedish Institute of International Affairs and the Stockholm Centre for Eastern European Studies.

At the event, Ambassador of Uzbekistan Nodir Ganiyev made a presentation of the large-scale reforms being carried out in Uzbekistan, spoke about the main goals of the Uzbekistan-2030 Strategy, the socially oriented policy of the government, investment opportunities, and plans to bring the country into the number of states with a high level of education, healthcare, and income.

In addition, participants were informed about the country’s active and pragmatic foreign policy activities, its international initiatives, and the position of the Uzbek side on current regional and international issues.
