The World Junior Saber Fencing Cup was held in Manama, Bahrain. According to the competition results, Uzbekistan’s Guliston Perdiboyeva won a gold medal.

In the semi-finals, Perdiboyeva beat Kristina Milanova from Bulgaria with a score of 15:8, and in the final, she defeated Veronika Vasilyeva (Australia) – 15:10.

Another representative of the Uzbekistan team, Herrera Lara Luisa Fernanda, was awarded the bronze medal of the tournament.
