The use of nuclear energy in Uzbekistan discussed

Tashkent State Technical University hosted a Republican scientific and technical conference on “Energy efficiency – 2021. Prospects for the development of energy in the world and Uzbekistan”.

The conference was attended by international experts, professors, researchers working in higher and secondary special education, doctoral students, independent researchers, specialists in the sphere, undergraduate and graduate students.

The conference was organized with the sponsorship of JSC Thermal Power Plants. Its main goal was to discuss the results of scientific research carried out to solve existing problems in production, transmission and distribution of electricity and heat and their rational use, as well as to exchange experience in training personnel for the electric power industry.

The conference was devoted to the discussion of the current state and prospects of the energy sector, energy efficiency, the use of digital energy technologies, energy conservation and resource conservation, problems of thermal energy, electricity and water energy, nuclear energy, alternative and renewable energy sources, as well as environmental issues of energy.

The number of conference participants was 150 people, over 20 of whom are from the CIS countries and far abroad. Leading scientists from Germany, Russia, Kazakhstan, Japan, Belarus and South Korea presented their scientific reports.
