Representatives of Uzbekistan's pharmaceutical industry are visiting the United States.

Uzbekistan delegation led by the Director of the Agency for the Development of the Pharmaceutical Industry Sardor Kariyev is taking part in the First American – Uzbekistan Pharmaceutical Summit in the United States.

According to the Agency, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Uzbekistan to the United States Javlon Vakhobov spoke about the development of Uzbekistan's economy, the country’s growth potential, and its role in the world market.

The head of the Agency for the Development of the Pharmaceutical Industry, Sardor Kariyev, informed the summit participants about the modern possibilities of Uzbekistan’s pharmaceutical industry and noted the ongoing reforms in the country in the development of this sector.
