The United States delegation visits Uzbekistan
The U.S. Special Representative for Afghanistan Reconciliation Zalmay Khalilzad and Deputy Assistant to the President of the United States, Senior Director for South and Central Asia at the National Security Council Lisa Curtis arrived in Uzbekistan.
On December 9, 2018, the U.S. Special Representative for Afghanistan Reconciliation Zalmay Khalilzad and Deputy Assistant to the President of the United States, Senior Director for South and Central Asia at the National Security Council Lisa Curtis arrived in Uzbekistan.
According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan, it is expected that the American delegation will be received by the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev.
The program of the visit includes meetings and negotiations at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Institute for Strategic and Regional Studies under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
