The President of the International Union of Notaries (UINL) Lionel Galliez and the Superior Council of Notaries of France delegation have begun a five-day visit to Tashkent.

During the visit, it is planned to familiarize foreign partners with the notary system of Uzbekistan. A meeting will be held with the Minister of Justice of the Republic of Uzbekistan, during which reforms in notaries in Uzbekistan, as well as issues of admission to the UINL and holding the next meeting of one of the prestigious commissions of the UINL – the International Notarial Cooperation Commission in the city of Samarkand on 10-11 October this year will be discussed.

The guests met with the leadership of the Notary Chamber of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

The Chairman of the chamber, Dilshod Ashurov, spoke about the reforms being carried out in the notarial system of Uzbekistan, that today the main emphasis is on digitalization. He also noted that the activities of notaries are insured in Uzbekistan.

The meeting continued with a videoconference on “The procedure for maintaining electronic archives in notary offices” with the participation of notaries engaged in private practice in Uzbekistan.
