The premiere of the performance “The Tricks of Scapin”, based on the work by Jean-Baptiste Molière, took place at Namangan Regional Theater of Musical Drama.

The performance’s main character, Scapin, opposes a society humiliated and sunk to the bottom due to a lack of money, rights, and opportunities for a comfortable existence. The hero does not cheat. He examines people – how strong the duty of fathers, children’s discipline, and people’s obligations. On whose behalf is this check being carried out? On behalf of the all-knowing theater.

The audience warmly welcomed the performance, staged in Uzbek and directed by Giyosiddin Mirzamakhmudov.
